Christmas Charity Youth Carnival 2009

Christmas Charity Youth Carnival was held at Autocity by Leo's club PCGHS. A La pointe dancers was invited to perform. We did 5 numbers from Nobody by wondergirls to Grease Lighting and to 2 numbers of Christmas Songs.Only complaints was the sucky PA system, lousy stage-crew not helping shifting the cables away for us dancer to dance and the stage is bit too small for massive movement. Movements are quite restricted with small spacing available.

Overall, had another enjoyable night performing for the charity concert. The dancers involved are Sam,Darrel,Yi wens,Eunice,Xin Xuan,Le Rong and myself. TAO sponsored food for us dancers and helpers for the event, while POP sponsored drinks. Packed up those untaken ones instead of wasting it.

The event was also entertained by a Church band from Tanjung side,Fresh Beat Rockers doing their street dance thing lots of popping and locking elements and pcghs girls have their voice talents took the stage belting out christmas songs throughout the night. Christmas souvenirs and t-shirts are sold too at the venue to raise funds. The place getting crowded as the night goes by,though it was quite empty and solemn in the evening.
Shih Hao and Yong Ping thank you for stopping by to watch the dance show. SK really touch you to took off from work to come by with Cik Furziah and Yung wei.Hope to hang out soon with you guys ,so sorry don't get to do that on the day due to time constrains.

Just one pain in the pocket incident happened to me: How on earth I forgotten my black stockings for performance?!!! BELLA save me from my horrendous slip-shot memory for the night but Cost me a bomb RM22 just for it. OUCH! The 1st and the LAST time I'll remember to bring my Stockings!

What a painful lesson learnt!

That Feeling

Its been awhile, keeping busy all along with my schedules and lots of interesting stuff keeping me so occupied and Alive! Learning all along to manifest the Law of Attraction and the power of keeping my mind being present practicing the power of NOW.
Yet again there's some feelings which still lingers on. Images of him flashing through now and then like light bulbs in the form of random thoughts and also in my dreams. How could it be so? Why can't I just let go instead I still miss him lots yet not again put hopes which I know I shouldn't as I still have a long way to go with a future that is uncertain. I know we've decided upon this sacrifice,to chase upon our dreams by keeping our focus getting through Uni for our very passion is the 1st priority and whether we're meant together in future only lies in God hands.
With his presence in my life before and even the support now,I know I shall be appreciative and thankful instead of being sadistic. At times I just couldn't help it, but to sulk upon it. God teach me to LOVE myself deeply enough passing me by this phase understanding my emotional needs and balance which slowly toughens me instead of numbing myself after all the wounds.

EFT has been a great gift which I feel blessed to be working on this life-long technique that have recently reach out to me during my turbulance state early this year. A blissful and mindful life, bringing myself to that next level of Awareness is the path I choose to walk along from now on. 
Thank you God allowing me to get connected with the universe and the source where we are all ONE.

Auditioning? Oh NO!

Finally the time comes, its scary! I've just receive my audition assignments as requirements to prepare for the audition and interview into Lasalle college of the arts. 1 of the elements is having to study the book as was asked to present how am I going to direct the play. My January is going to be a hell month working on all aspects interesting yet challenging,hope to give my best and pray hard leaving to God to guide me through. So I'd scout through thick and thin,all the bookstores and distributors throughout Malaysia sadly none carry the stock of Neil Simon's play Broadway Bound. Waiting for replies from cousin and friend in sg to check out. Anand came into my mind suddenly thought he had a good network,so called him up and he managed to check it out in sg almost immediate. Looks like only Borders and Kinokuniya in sg got the book but unfortunately just ran out of stock! What a coincidence, a book that is hard to find yet in  great demand. Well, couldn't wait for more time to be wasted decided that I eBay-ED it. BINGO! Found it and bought it at a resonable price! Only have to learn a little patience for it hoping it to reach asap in 6-10 days. Yahooooo..

Just Danz' Group

Upcoming performances with Just Danz' Group in various function for December fever! The dance group newly I'd joined for different exposure and choreography variations. Our first performance, at Gurney Plaza Belleview event went on well than expected. For the 1st time uniting as a team doing 4 numbers from Sway,Let's Get Loud, a Korean number if not mistaken and Jai Ho. Costumes that Sharon got was fitted to the theme of the dances presented. The group consisting of Sharon,Joey,Edwin and myself had our time on the stage doing our thing. It's quite tiring doing a 4 songs straight down in 1hour time.Nevertheless, it turn out well so no regrets. Thanks to Sharon's husband Billy for some nice shots and the videographer! Omar thanks for your photos taken too and not 4getting your feedback.. :)
I shall SMILE more on-stage next time. ;p
It was great that various event companies approached us for strings of shows next year to come!
The most EXCITING part was Maxis offered to fly us down to Macau and Singapore for dance shows! xD Yahoo... Can't wait to travel! weee... Hopefully It won't clash with my audition dates as well as before I start my journey studying in Lasalle College of the Arts.

Photoshooting session

Its a photoshoot for a coming event of Art Installation taking place end of January 2010 a 3day production which rehersals have just about to start.1st time experiencing how a photoshooting session takes place which was indeed pretty interesting.
Few photographers as well as Joei was present for the photoshoot.The whole process was taken place in Penang Film Club located near Weld Quay area. Make up and hairdo was done in 1 hour time.Few make up tips I get to observed and being smart this time putting a layer of safe skin before make up is done preventing more 'volcano eruption' on my forehead protecting it from foundation.Hope it works!

Being clad by only a fan shape bikini made by newspaper for the top and shorts and topped with props some strips of cardboard covering my eyes,wearing boots and also a peacock or feather like hairdo. Was instructed to give the shoot a fierce look having the impression of the photoshoot to turnout having a dark ambience of a bird trying to fly freely craving for freedom.

On the whole,I've enjoyed myself learning how the whole process takes place though its tiring posing and pausing there just for few shots to be perfected.

Next thing,I got a call from Su Minh asking me to be a model for her recent hobby. I was like shocked and excited for the opportunity and also to gain further insights and skills I can.
Still wishing for my 1st ever DLSR! For now in my dreams. xD Unless a kind soul pop by! haha

Yet another small thing that brightens my day.

Charity Dance Show 2009

A Production by my very honourable and respectable jazz instructor as well as great mentor in my journey of dance Mr Ng Kai beng with the support of lions club,the event was a BLAST!

Featuring most types of dances from a vast collaboration from different dance studios and schools from ballet,jazz,hip-hop,line dance,sexy dance,traditional and more. About over 100 dancers joined forces to make this show a success,they're from A La Pointe Ballet academy,K&t Artwork,D'Vol dance theatre, 100% Dance Studio,DOS and ILearndance studio.

Having the opportunity to perform on the stage of an auditorium is really a great honour.It also brought about memories of my past experience being on stage 7years back with PESSOC playing in the 2nd violin section as well as my last musical performance Repunzel during my kindergraden years.

I was involved in 5 numbers a Traditional dance for the opening ceremony under ALP and 4 jazz dances under K&T Artwork which comprises of Hush-hush,Danseurs de Jazz,Sense of Love and Fame! Am really glad that me and Darrel was given the chance to be so involved. Though its pretty tiring and exhausting doing so many dances in a stretch but as the CONCERT kicks off that day,everything went well and there we are doing out very best. For de-briefing section,I know that I could done better in my showmanship than that which this show and experience will led us towards polishing our flaws and taking our potential to the next level.

Most entertaining group was from 100% dance studio feedback from the crowd. Their groovy hip-hop moves with precise timing and comedic movement have made the crowd pump it out. Meantime, D'vol dance group has mesmerized the audience with their outstanding simple costume,flexibility,creative routines and unique moves of hip-hop and street dance elements.

I'm very thankful and greatful that most of my loved ones were there to support the show.Blessing from friends near and far wishing me for the event,gym-mates,dance teacher Weberlynn,schoolmates,ex-collegemates and also new friend found. Its sad that some of my close buddies couldn't attend but with their moral support all the way,thank you! I love you all.

To my dance-mates,really nice meeting and working you nice bunch of people forming K&T Artwork . I'm so looking forward to the next project FLASH MOB!

God,thank you for having a great mentor like Kai Beng! Blessed him with great health and wealth to come in continuing his passion in dancing,while creating a platform for young talents to grow.

Penang Beach Carnival 2009

A huge event the Penang Beach Carnical that was held at Golden Sands Beach Resort.Johnny called me up if am available,since I am so went there as a runner for the Dragon boat and kayaking event as timers with Boon and Kin Ken too. Met with some USM students anderson doing his MA in electronics and ying doing her BA in Chemistry.Nice people they are. Food and beverages were supplied to us throughtout the event.

Was really burning hotness on that day,standing by the shores trying to locate our focus towards the refree for the starting signal.The referee which is so tiny from far was helped by dressing on a bright red t-shirt that helped alot.

The competition gets more and more intense especially for the Dragon Boat races which wins are determined by splits seconds.While the kayaks competing level is just average.

Overall,the organizing committee for those 2 event was disasterous. As no planning and precise briefing was given but yet tabulated results expected to be perfect.To hell with perfection without proper execution.

Was an enjoyable experience though the event got delayed due to poor management that causes me rushing my way home whilst getting caught in Saturday's jams.Ended up letting Aaron,Sharon and Darrel to wait for me to get home before picking me up to K&T Artwork Potluck party at DOS in butterworth.
